Dr. Papoi was born and raised in East Lansing, Michigan. He graduated from the US Air Force Academy in 1990, and Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999. He is a former flight surgeon with the Maryland Air National Guard, and current FAA examiner for local pilots. With his emergency medicine, wilderness medicine and rural medicine background, he has extended his expertise to the Damascus area for over two decades as a “Country Doctor”. Dr. Papoi resides in Phoenix, MD, with his wife, Dana, and is the father of three sons.
